I saw the game on the box today and along with the commentators didn't see the first yellow card for Mr. Bellamy. It seemed to be a surprise to most people. The fourth official, connected to the referee by radio, conveniently stated it was for an earlier infringement.

Anybody at the game see him give the first yellow card?

It was given for dissent after the Bolton goal - wouldn't surprise me that Bellamy was mouthing off but for the ref to book him for diving

baaah

I heard that is what they said it was for, but wondered if anybody had seen it.

Thanks.

I never heard what he said but it was on MOTD and Football First - you can see him mouthing off to the ref - typical Bellers - its part of his makeup

Chelsea game their goal corner that should not have been two goal to Bolton off side and another throw in that wasn't i think we should compile a list

There have been so so many wrong decisions this year. Every weekend the refs mess up royally in some game costing a team points.

I remember the Palace v City game this year in the cup, i have never ever seen such an incompetant linesman in my life.
The corner v Chelsea, the dissallowed goals at Palace and Portsmouth, 6 minutes of 4 minutes injury time etc etc etc

Bolton:
1st Goal: Foul Throw and Offisde
3rd Goal: Throw in to us, but given to them leading to the goal (doesnt defend shit defending though)
Bellamy clearly foulded, as he gave the ref a bollocking for the 3rd goal, the ref couldnt send him off fast enough.

As another poster said, Best league in the World, the worst refs.

We've got some of the best refs in the world compared to other leagues, such as Spain and Italy, where they stop play every two minutes.

It's swings and roundabouts, we will win points unfairly too. If I had to chose between our refs now who make mistakes, and refs that stop the game every few minutes but don't make a mistake, I'd take ours everyday of the week.
