Security At The Ground

its happened to be for having my foot in the blue square when drinking a pint before the game, "Im not gonna tell you again ,get out of the fucking square"...it was the first time he asked too!

Not much symathy from me mate. It pisses me off the amount of people that a) turn up 10-15 minutes late and b) leave early. Why? A game of football takes 90 minutes - stay and watch it all. Why leave your seat? I had a 3 hour drive at the end of the game, I didn't feel any need to leave my seat early.

Because they can. I'm of the opposite opinion here. If you want to go for a piss when you want to - you can. If you want a pint at half time without wanting to queue - you can. If you don't want to sit in traffic for an hour - you don't have to do so. You're not in prison, you're not at the theatre etc....what's the problem?

Where you sit so I can ask you next time?

I have explained earlier why I left 30 seconds early. It is a pain to get out unless you sit in the top two or three rows to get out. We are very fortunate to have a good parking space near the stadium and traffic is bad. I know what you mean about people leaving early but I am talking not even a minute.

Plus as said previous you can leave when you want!

The OP can do what he wants, he can leave early, go for a piss when he wants and get a nice early pint at half time,if he wants. So to all you nobs that are akin to fukin Nazis saying people must stay till the end and be there nice and early blah blah blah, grow up you sad people.

Agree, 2-0 up in the 83rd minute and people started sneaking out..idiots missed the 3rd goal. Don't see the point. You're gonna get stuck in traffic either way

Wonder if they turn the channel over if they're watching it on TV

HI
As a Ex steward
I can tell you that the reason you was told not to stand at the top of the Aisle is a question of Safety It does not matter if you stand there for a few seconds or for the whole match if there was an emergency they would need to get people out of the stadium as quickly and safely as possible and before you state the fact that you would not stand there people will as play will still be ongoing as it could take a few more minutes to let the ref and players know that the play has to stop.

As regards the swearing this is not acceptable behavour and if you happen to get the number on the jacket you could write a letter to the club the person you would need to address it to is Mr Peter Fletcher the stadium safety Officer. you would need to say where this incident took place EG stand, level, and block number.

as a matter of interest what colour jacket did he have on, orange, yellow, blue,
also which stand were you in.

Hope this helps you

helen the bells grandson

I stand in the east stand corner in 109 but go in 110 bcause my seats are right on the end of 109 on the stairs. I must of been asked about 30 times by one girl who is quite nice to step in. Literally in some cases my little toe was over the supposed line which you cant breach.

This is a result of my fat dad who takes up approximatly 2 seats but still jobsworth or what!!!! Abit of banter we had tho and i may move in and grab her digits :)

While it does piss me off abit people leaving 5-10mins before the end, I have to agree with the above...

It's still a FREE country....just about!

i have no problem with people leaving early for what ever reason, i have no problem with people going for a piss.

But i have a problem with people who leave early and start bloody monging when asked to move from somewhere they should nt be like standing in the fuckin aisle and blocking my view even when stood
