My bro died 6 years ago this august and i just saw him stood at the door at the kitchen that leads to the living room where i was sat. I got up to go into the kitchen but he walked backwards and went out of sight. When i got into the kitchen he was gone. I swear it was him. I saw him clear as day.

I havent had a proper nights sleep for about 6 weeks now, but since friday i have managed about 7 hrs due to toothache. Has this got anything to do with it or am i going crazy? Im kinda upset right now. I just wanted to speak to him.

Fuck, what a predicament! I would say it's lack of sleep mate, but if you saw him clear as day, then you saw him. My old lady swears by the fact, her old fella used to 'visit' her now and again in the night when she was a teen. My aunt also was often visited by my grandma, after she died. She described a blouse she was wearing at the time, which was spooky as because she lived with us, none of the rest of the family got to see the blouse as she bought it a few days before she became ill and only worn it once.

Go with your instinct ric.

I met some friends in a pub the other day and the conversation started how this pub was meant to be haunted. My friends wife was saying that her 11 year old was to scared to use the toilets because she's seen a ghost in them. Then my girlfriend remembered a few weeks back that she has taken my 5 year old daughter to the same toilets when my little one said something that at the time my lass didn't think much of and thought it was Ali messing around. she left the cubical door open so my lass could keep an eye on her when my daughter said " can you close the door people are watching me " and pointed towards the celling. There was no one else in the room apart from them two.

Just a coincidence or are kids more perceptive to seeing dead people.

It could be lack of sleep but then again if you saw him clear as day as you say then you most likely did. Don't get upset, speak to him even if you can't see him. If you saw him then he is letting you know he is still around you.

Yes kids and animals are more perceptive to seeing spirits I believe.

My Mum passed away in 1992. and
A couple of years ago my sister told me our Mum had sat on the end of her bed during the night. She put it down to a dream, but when she woke the next morning her husband (my Brother in law) asked why she was sitting on the end of the bed during the night.

When someone near & dear departs it's only natural that we should want to see them again and so our brains play tricks on us (that we will never truly understand).

What's more likely? Your brain conjuring up these images (especially when you're in childhood or when you're tired) or someone coming back from the dead to see you?

However, if people get comfort from the thought that that these really are visits from loved ones then fair enough.
