Seeing Stars at City

Not really a star but also saw the guy who plays David Platt in Corrie lingering outside the ground before the home leg of the League Cup semi v Utd. Not sure who he supports

Seen him to that time. I think he is united. Had the woman with him?

The last celeb I saw was Tony Robinson (Baldrick) at the 2016 League Cup Final. He and his mate were buying some Pick & Mix and he posed for a couple of selfies before going back through the door to the hospitality section.

Why do I feel the need to say that’s Martin Platt!

I was handed a joint at Notts County away by a guy who was in Brookside for a while. Played a rocker/indie kid and mates (in the programme) with the lad who became a copper.

Shit...two soap references in one post.
I remember sharing a bottle of poppers with Mike Dixon from Brookside about 1996 inThe Holy City Zoo night club. He was with a crowd of people and I got into a bird he was with, but they fucked off early and I didn't get to have serious fun with her. :(

Ricky Hatton's box was directly behind us when we first moved to the Etihad. We were later "encouraged" to relocate when the family stand became the family stand so it's face paint all the way!

Not at the ground, but proud to say I got called a 'Blue c*nt', by Phil Lynott.

Aside from substance abuse, Phil's great failing was being a Rag. At one point, Lizzy used to let fans (and I mean fans not groupies) into their dressing room after gigs. A whole gang of us were allowed in after a show at the FTH.

I'd said to him that being a Dubliner at heart, he was bound to be a red ..... Hence his reply.
