Starting to get the impression the team are getting really tired of the whole tevez saga.

Big Vinny K is right. We will be better with or without him next season. We'll have a fucking captain for a start. Just imagine, we won the FA Cup & came 3rd in the league with a captain who doesn't speak the lingo! God knows what this group are capable of with a real leader who inspires rather than causes trouble at the worst possible moments.
And as a previous poster mentioned, Tevez should never have lifted that cup at Wembley as the most important playing representative of Manchester City Football Club. We all knew then that the ungrateful little shit didn't want to be here, & when you think back to some of the great captains who've led this club with pride over the years, it does a great disservice to their memory that the situation was allowed to happen just to pander to the moaning little bastard.
As fans, we're having to put up with rags giving us loads about our captain not wanting to play for us, but the truth is, I've been saying since his first hissy fit in December, that we should get rid of him, as he's not fit to wear the shirt. If only Mike Doyle or someone like Andy Morrison was here now - never mind locking him in a room & having a word, they'd kick the everlasting shit out of the little turd & he'd deserve it.
And before anyone chirps up & says he's still a City player & we shouldn't be slagging him, firstly, no he's not & secondly, yes we should!

Seems like City are humming on all counts, Tevez in our pocket, signings imminent, media output absolutely superb, our club has just gone through puberty in the fastest possible way IMO and now sit next to anybody else in the Platini gang.

It was obvious what kompany was after the Hamburg 1/4 final, he never took his eyes of the play when Richards chested him clearly disgruntled at being swerved to fullback. His laffin kite when running/dragging Balo back onto the field in the semi is burnt into me memorybank....'kin biggens.

VK has ''captain' running through him all day long; loyelty, integrity, consummate pro, a brain (rare in most footballers tbh) and actaully a very good player on and off the ball. Add to that others such as NDJ, Yaya, Barry and there are some outstanding possible skippers - as has been said, captains all over the pitch. However THE captain is more than a leader on the field, he is an Ambassador off it. VK very definately fits that role.
Contrast Tevez; he should never have been made skipper, even without his petulent and entierly predictable behaviour. Everybody could see he was NOT captain material in a month of City wins and with all thats gone on since December 2010 at least, I think the only bad mark for City at the moment is their ongoing reluctance to remove him from that post, something they should have done the moment the season officially ended in May and even now appear to be dithering over when firm messeges need sending to all and sundry about what is and is not acceptable behaviour, especially since Tevez made what appears to be an irreversable decision to leave. Stick him with the kids and let him rot unless he issues a full public apology, and make it publically very clear that he is under contract and he will do what the club says, when it says it and for how ever long until his contract is up - and stop communicating with his agent!
