if someone wants to pay over the odds, its up to them, whats ur problem with that.

i put mine on here weeks a go with efc and spurs ticket, said wanted money back and had 3 replies str8 away... "ill give 100 for ur rag ticket mate" i never asked for that but if thats what someone wants to pay

Problem with that is there will always be high demand for the hard-to-get tickets-for-games and some people will feel obliged to offer a bit more. I offered well over the odds to someone on here for a match earlier this season and it was turned into an auction despite accepting my offer. Yeah, you could say it was my fault but if people are clear from the outset that they want only face value then they can come up with some idea for who they want to sell it to, or just choose at random, it makes no odds

personally I'd never sell over face value
