My main concern for the season coming was highlighted again tonight and that is down our left side. WE let far too many crosses into our box. It doesn't matter who our centre halves are, if we let numerous crosses come in, sooner or later an attacker will get his head on one and score. It is basic defending, don't let the cross come in!! Last season our full backs all sat off and let crosses fly across the box.Is it just me, or does anyone else agree??

i agree TBH is awful and so is etuhu but i think we should keep garrido just in case of bad injuries

I definitely agree. There is major problems on our full-backs. Richards lacks a football brain and this causes him to constantly position himself wrong and lacking the ability to read the game properly. He also suffers from major concentration lapses. Bridge needs some strong competition. And I don't want to see Barry, nor Lescott there if he is to be our new leader in defence. Lescott needs to stay at CB and Barry in midfield where they excel and wants to play. I think Darijo Srna for the right back and a proper defender for the left side, would do us good. But an organizing centre-half who is great in the air and reads to game well is the most important.

TBH must never play for us again. I've never ever booed a city player and never would but god he tries my patience like no other. Awful again tonight.

Toure played mint if you actually watched him. He was on 'Anger management mode' because Dunne and Bridge were not defending well and he was going mental and telling them to get back. He is a proper leader.

Ben Haim was decent tonight, certainly no worse than the rest of the defenders. He's just the current hate target. People should really stop getting on the backs of players for no valid reason,

he played 10x better than toure or dunne.

That is almost as shocking as his defending. He has already been at fault for three goals this preseason.

It is well past time to move on. I would take 15 Vassells over TBH. Hell, I would even take Sun Jihai back over TBH.

They're a poor side who passed the ball better and for longer than we did tonight. I'm not getting carried away but am getting a bit nervous. We need summet at the back

I wouldn't - In the first half we had (mostly) a full strength 11 out, minus obviously Tevez and a prospective Lescott. I reckon we had the best of it when they were out and yes, the goal we conceded was poor. Shows why we want Lescott.

I would like to see Kompany and either Dunne/Lescott/Torre. Kompany will add another option when fit (if he is not in Barcelona).
