Semi-final draw: City v Arsenal 3pm Sunday confirmed

It did get down to Citizens for the semi vs Chelsea.

There must be a number of seasoncard holders who go to the Etihad as families. A trip to Wembley for a SF for all of them wouldnt be cheap. Especially if they're hoping to make the same trip a few weeks later.

I'll be frankly shocked if we don't sell out our entire allocation. Never mind twenty years ago, York away and all that stuff. Even as recent as ten years ago we would have bitten anyone's hand off for a spot in the FA Cup semi-final. Still a big, big occasion, as far as I'm concerned. We'll win this, too.

Got mine yesterday, in block 132 behind the goal, £200 for 4 of us.

Loads of blocks available on level 1 & 5 by the way, sales will go on easily into next week.

What a bunch of idiots the guys who scheduled the City V Arsenal semi-final for the Sunday. Yes that of all days to have 30,000+ city fans coming down to London on the very day they are holding the London marathon. Now you would think that they would have said let's keep the all London semi-final for the Sunday. While the City Arsenal semi-final will be played on the Saturday, which would have made a lot more sense.

Fully agree. Im bringing my youngest son to this and was hoping to show him the sights and make a day of it. Looks like it will be difficult getting around and i imagine there are huge crowds watching the marathon.

17:30 0n a Saturday would have made public transport impossible to come home. It's a logistical nightmare whichever way it's looked at. Northern clubs are shafted every year. Can't wait until they go back to neutral semi grounds (Although if that was the case I bet we'd be playing le arse at the swamp whilst chavs and spuds get either the Emirates or London stadium)

Best date and time for transport.Delighted with both.
London will cope with 30,000 City fans no matter what is on.

I don't think the marathon visits anywhere near Wembley as it tends to stay close to the Thames.

I would have preferred the Saturday slot but the transport system should be able to cope with the numbers of visitors. It's probably busier in London on a wet Thursday morning in mid November.

Most won't be anywhere near the marathon. Most city fans will get as far as Watford, Wembley and Euston Road. The few hundred or thousand who bother going into London are not going to make a difference in a city that has a population of millions.

Fuss about nothing from those making a fuss.

Yes Watford junction to Wembley Central only 15 minutes on train no problem, plus lots of pubs close by.
