People are massively overreacting here.
We're 55 games into the season, we've made 7 changes, bringing KDB, Mendy and Fernadinho back from injury, Walker getting injured and Jesus is still playing like a guy who's on the bench 80% of the time.
If a team like Brighton are going to play conservatively and make things scrappy, we're going to have scrappy games.
Completely agree with this take on the game. We shouldn't underestimate the ability of our players and manager to play to the opposition. Having gone one up, we were in control. As a supporter it doesn't feel like that, but the players understand it. If the opposition are at say, level 6, our players play at level 7. This is absolutely the correct approach at this stage in the season. I admire it and most importantly, it works. Look at City's record in 2019.
