Send off for Toure and Zabaleta?

From zabba's interview a couple of days ago it's clear he is leaving, just belt his song out today and tuesday, yaya's agent says he has not had an offer yet so assume he is going as well

To be fair to the club Ric I think that the most important thing is for us to not miss out on CL qualification. Ideally we would have been secured in third by now and then I believe announcements would have been confirmed. In a way they are caught between a rock and a hard place. Tell the world that the seven are not being offered a contract then the risk is that the players would lose a little edge by thinking, "why get injured when I won't be here next season?" We would all love to believe that wouldn't happen, but in reality there is only Rugby League where players know months ahead that they are moving yet still perform at the same level. Against Leicester we need to be at full tilt and I think Pep wants to ensure that they are all hungry. Having said that, I am sure that behind doors they may know the writing is on the wall if not the decision already. Team selection today will be mighty interesting to me. I have the feeling that most, if not all of the out of contract players will be going. He knows we need a big rebuild and in the past that has been hard due to the level of the contracts making it impossible to move players on. I think we should all give them a good send off today anyway especially if we can get the very important win.

My view too.

Yeah, fair point. I imagine the players themselves already know though, judging by Zabaleta's comments. If that is the case then I'm not sure what the harm would be in letting the fans know.

Anyway, hope people sing their names to the rafters today and Tuesday, as another poster said.

Toure will stay for one year. Already verbally agreed although not signed as far as I'm aware.

As long as he is not demanding a starting place would be very astute in my view. Liked the way he gave the penalty to Leroy today. I don't care what anybody says about him but to me he was perhaps the most important signing in terms of turning this club around. A giant despite the history.

I wish the club would confirm whether or not they will be leaving at the end of the season, so that they can get the send off they deserve as two of the most important players in our modern history. Gutted that our final home game is midweek though, as not many will hang around for a lap of honour.
You are right Ric .but the club could anounce they are leaving and ask the fans to stay as only those two wil come back out .am sory Ric the fu*kers who run the club now.dont have a clue
