Yeah, I find it really annoying too. To the extent that we might stop supporting Tapatalk soon. It's a third party app that we have very little control over. The site is fully responsive now, so Tapatalk shouldn't really be required.
They've introduced it as a form of advertising, trying to force forum owners into signing up for their 'premium' paid-for program:
