Well he has 7 league games before then and Newcastle is 1 of them so there's every chance his 100th league goal could be against them.
He's had something like 10 injuries for us, so imagine thats probably 7 or 8 matches he's come off injured in. Then there's his recovery time and slower introductions onto the pitch. A lot of that accounts for his poor scoring form in 12-13 (by his standard). He has missed around 3/4 of a full season with us through injury, maybe slightly more. Imagine another full seasons worth of matches and scoring to add into those statistics, he would be on par with Shearer's scoring.
