Aguero is on 153 League goals. The stats page in the History (we haven’t got any) section of this website only has him on 152. Can whoever is responsible for updating this part of the website please do so at the earliest opportunity? I believe the missing goal has not been allocated to the Liverpool game at the start of the month.

And at 153 he’s only five behind our all time record league goal scorer in Tommy Johnson. Could break that in the next four games.

He has 2 more seasons after this so if he can get 10 this 20 next season , it would leave him needing 17 in his last season, he would probably be getting less games but it will be close and depend on fitness as much as anything, and on Jesus’ s form too.

It’s not completely beyond the realms of possibility that he could extend beyond that, which would change the equation.
