The amount of times they contradict themselves is staggering as well. Both Durham and bent had a dig at serg about him not being city’s regular penalty taker, being shit at free kicks etc, effectively saying if he’s shit at pens then he can’t be that good. 20’minutes they were lording Andy Coles record and how impressive it was seeing as he never took penalties or free kicks.
They make it up as they go along.

Any striker that scores more than Henry in fewer games is the greatest in Prem history. More hat tricks than Shearer in 200 fewer games. Sergio has moved the subject away from opinions. Strikers are judged on goals and he wins hands down. Plenty of goals left in him yet.

Hilarious hearing Manure, Arsenal and Liverpool fans making out that their idols are/were better than Sergio. Sergio is the greatest - they'll all have to suck it up. Ha ha.....

Random anecdote I found interesting: I was listening to a podcast today with Mark Clattenburg as a guest host and he said one thing about Sergio is that "he never once cheated" - if he went down in the box, Clattenburg knew it was a genuine penalty shout. Was asked if that influenced the way in which he made decisions and he seemed hesitant to say yes, but he did say that with other players who he didn't trust as much, he'd make more of an effort to make sure he had the best possible angle to see what they were doing.

Also another random fact: If Silva assists 4 more goals for Sergio before he leaves, he'll surpass Lampard as the PL player to provide the most assists for a specific teammate (24 for Drogba). Silva's at 21 assists for Aguero after yesterday.
