Sergio Aguero - 2016/17 performances

THIS. People need a reality check on what the boy has done for this club over the last 5 years. Talk about fickle.
We've been far too soft about hanging onto players long beyond the point we should do. He doesn't contribute enough, his poor finishing is now costing us points and his indiscipline means we'll have been without our only senior striker for 7 of our first 20 domestic games this season. We should be cashing in while we can and getting in another couple of top class strikers.

While I agree about him scoring probably the most important goal in club history, we do tend to get misty eyed about our players. There are several in the current squad who are well past their sell by date.

Not 100℅ Sergio is one of those just yet but he needs to buck his fucking ideas up.

I've never ever criticised Aguero before. However, he was a disgrace today, not only for the malicious tackle but also for taking the piss out of Cahill for the o.g. Our owners won't be liking this sort of publicity.

Pep clapping the ref - however understandable - wasn't too auspicious either.

Don't like to see City players and staff behaving like this.

(Still a world class player though.)

Is a little concerning though that he's slowly building up a catalogue of these incidents, since the Luiz one in 2013. Not suggesting he has a discipline problem by any means.
7 games banned in 20 this season suggests he has got a discipline problem. Or it occurs to me, maybe he's "doing a Suarez" and forcing us into a position where we have to sell him.

was Sergio done by luis in the penalty area near the north stand?. I saw luis standing over him feigning concern when the trainer was on for about three minutes. the sending off will be on a constant re run on sky sports news until they get an extended ban for him. on talk shite on Saturday evening despite saying there were a million talking points in the game danny Kelly mentioned the sending off ten or more times and pep clapping taylor for one of his many bent decisions.
