I'm just so fucking pissed off and frustrated with us being so underwhelming at home, we've thrown away about 10 points with utter dogshit finishing and even worse defending. We need to be more ruthless in every way, from getting stuck in on the pitch and woman slapping little tossers like Fabregas, to putting chances away and off the pitch in the transfer market. No more promising youngsters or second tier players, fucking break the bank for our rivals' very best players.

I get your frustration mate, but at the end of the day it is a game of sport and no one deserves to be tackled that way.

Just looking at the stats and it's interesting.

Last season he was out between 17/10 & 08/11 and it was P7 W5 D2 then he was out from 01/12 to 12/12 and it was P4 W4.
The season before he was out from 10/12 to 14/01 and our record was P7 W6 D1
In 2013/4 he was out from 17/12 to 12/01 and our record was P8 W7 D1
In 2012/3 it was only a couple of games between 05/01 and 13/01 and we won both.

So our record in all December/Jan games without him is P21 W19 D2 but we obviously had other senior strikers in those seasons.

That’s a staggering set of statistics. And the point about other strikers is something the lads around me were talking about yesterday: Dzecko, Tevez, Mario and Sergio. One of them would always pull out something if the others hadn’t been finding the net. And we had a defence that was simply unbeatable at home.

Spot on. I don't believe we ever upgrade our 2012 squad in terms of balance and depth. That front four were frightening
