Aguero - 61 shots - 10 goals
Costa - 43 shots - 11 goals
Sanchez - 43 shots - 11 goals

Not the only guilty one of under-par finishing though

De Bruyne - 37 shots - 2 goals
Pogba - 37 shots - 2 goals

I think most realize this. But, have a hard time saying it on a City forum. As they'll be accused of bad-mouthing him due to being our of form. He is actually scoring a lot which is good. But the system doesn't seem to suit him. That too is kinda clear. So it's a bit of a conundrum really.
It is obvious though his vision is lacking, he's also just an average passer of the ball

** Puts head in hands reading this garbage **

He's a world class goalscorer, with the best goals per game ratio in the PL ever, to score arguably Citys most important ever goal. What more could you possibly want?

His short passing has always been ok which is what you primarily want from your striker.

You are right about his lack of vision though, which is contributing to lack of goals from out wide.
1006 minutes played - 12 chances created - 0 assists

Iheanacho on the other hand
301 minutes played - 11 chances created - 3 assists(1 each for Nolito, Sterling and Kev)

Costa and Sanchez are on hot streaks. Aguero does it year after year and those figures are within his normal range and no one gets near him for consistency. His best season (for goals per shot) was last season with 1 goal in 5 attempts (when many on here said he wasnt the player he used to be blah blah) and his worst 1 in 7 attempts in 12/13.

Hard to give an objective view about Aguero right now as again he managed to get himself suspended for utterly stupid behaviour. Imho it was a combination of sheer frustration by trailing as a team, and not scoring as an individual.

But putting the two incidents aside, Aguero despite scoring a lot of goals already, doesn't look the player we know he can be. I just put it down to the fact he needs to adjust to Peps' demands on and off the pitch. In time I expect him he can live up. However Aguero needs some serious competition soon, because he needs to be on his toes. And getting himself sent off all the time won't help his case.

I think he is being pushed out of the English game and wouldn't surprise me if he thought fk it and left.
No real recognition (why no player of the year?) from media, the hacking he gets with no protection from Refs and the refereeing in general.
He looks miserable these days, never looks for the assist and has got proper naughty. I fear he is on his way.
