There was certainly people in this thread saying he should go because they thought he couldn't adapt to the way Pep wants his strikers to play.

Brilliant again today; my MotM.

He took his goals very well and really should have had a hat-trick. The chance he missed was easier to convert than the two he scored, IMHO.

But it's not just his goalscoring now. His link play is also top class and he's really bought into the way Pep wants him to play.

Someone posted earlier that Pep has already said that Kun will be at City next season. I really hope he is. I want to see Sergio Agüero break Eric Brook's record.

If we continue to play in the style we have these last two games, i.e., since Sergio and Gabriel have been in the side together, we will terrify defences to death next term.

Well he's certainly shut me up this past couple of months, he's been sensational. I thought his attitude had been lacking in the past 18 months but he's right back on it now. Also nice to see him play more or less a full season because injuries were starting to catch up with him and he'd lost a bit of sharpness.

In terms of not being a Pep player, he's changed a bit in the past couple of months as well. He now drops back with a real purpose and when he gets the ball he turns and uses it much quicker than he was doing. He used to hold up the play but now he's added neat flicks and passing to his strengths.

Should definitely be back next year now and hopefully he can forge a partnership with Jesus in one way or another so that there doesn't need to be endless speculation about either of them.
