Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

I’ve watched every single inter game this season as part of my job .

Icardi is a better finisher than kun imho
My best friend is a Inter fan, and we watch their games sometimes. He looks a lot like Higuain, very one dimensional. A good finisher, indeed, but 50% the player Kun was at his age, and still is.

Who is better than him? Suarez, Cavani, Benzema, Lewandovski, Lukaku, Morata, Icardi, Higuain? None of them. Not for me. Just Kane is in a better form right now.
Kane, Cavani, Lewandoski are all definitely better than Sergio at this point.

Meh.

Who knows.

Our system creates scoring opportunities for so many players... it's inevitable that our "striker's" goal rate has diminished somewhat.

So long as Kun continues to buy into Pep's system - pressing, moving, combining - and most importantly working hard each game - he's a great asset to the team.

Im not denying that he’s a great player, just that he’s been far less clinical than some other strikers this season.

Perhaps so.

But given that so many other players can score in Pep's system - I wonder...

Kun is scoring less so one tends to then wonder why - and focus on missed chances.

Whereas in previous seasons, Kun was *the* main scoring threat - give it to Kun and let him shoot.

You could be right though - it would be interesting to see how Kun's goal scoring compares to previous seasons as a percentage of clear goal scoring opportunities.

Aguero tonight: "I’m very happy here, but the club has the last word, they’re the only ones who decide, because obviously the club is the one who makes the decisions, they are the ones who say you have to go or have to stay, so I’ll respect whatever they tell me." [@Sammy_Goal]

If he is forced out i will not be happy

I will be much less than happy, Karen. I can see a protest mounting! Khaldoon out!!

Bloody hell you are sensitive about better blue arguments, where do I say that? I am saying; Kun had as good a game as most against Watford, he was no worse than anyone else against Palace, before that he scored 2. Get off his back. What I don't care for is the way some come on here as though they are Bluemoon Royalty and cannot be disagreed with.
I’m on a tear, to be sure. It’s time it’s stamped out as it’ll create a scasm if it’s not addressed (I’ve seen it happen elsewhere). It’s already gotten much more tribal on here as of late.

And I agree with you regarding the Bluemoon Royalty issue—notice I wasn’t saying anything about your disagreeing with us, only your characterisation of anyone that wasn’t satisfied with Kun’s recent performances (“Some fans (?) on this thread need to understand the difference between a real game and their fantasies”). If anything, you were guilty of exhalting yourself in your comment, though, I don’t think you realised that’s how it sounded, which is why I was pointing it out.
