Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

his link up play and passing has come on leaps and bounds in the last few weeks. Deserved the assist he got today.
He tends to have an enviable habit of stepping up big time whenever it looks like his days might be numbered. Especially since Jesus popped up onto the scene. I think we need more doubters haha.

He has gone from constantly making the wrong decision in the final third, to always making the right decision. He releases it a lot quicker which helps keep the momentum of the attacks. He’s not as greedy. It’s like the penny has dropped that keeping said momentum will ultimately result in more chances for the team and more goals for him. He also looks quicker than I’ve ever seen him. Both in terms of pace but also the speed of thought. Long may it continue.

Forget all your other Strikers , you never doubt a man of Sergio’s ability, Let him go back home when’s he’s good and ready until then I’d be locking him the CFA training grounds

This may be a reactionary post due to his fantastic form this season but he's been almost on KDB's level this season for me. Kev has been more consistent but I think this is his best season in his career. He was something else in 13/14 but then he was injured for half the season. This time he's played 90 mins two times a week for a couple of month with running his bollocks off every game and still keeps on scoring and setting up goals.

Big game for him against Chelsea. They know how to keep it tight so this would be a great game for Aguero to prove his worth in the non-PL goalscoring capacity.
Massive goal threat regardless.

Very often it seems if Kun doesn't score he doesn't have a good game. Last night he was exceptional
