Sergio Aguero leaves City after 10 years

Sergio was an integral part of our renaissance and he was a wonderful player for the best part of ten years. However, the best part of ten years doesn't include the last year or so. Age and injuries meant he was nothing like Peak Sergio but presumably he wanted a new contract on similar terms to his current one. Pep and the club thought otherwise and so he has found the best option for him at this stage of his career.

Anything he has said today about Barcelona or he says in the future won't diminish his impact for us. I wish him well but both parties move on.
 
Absolute hero and always will be, lethal on the field and gave the club nothing but loyal service and not a days bother

Re the pep comments what's the big deal Madrid and Barcelona are the biggest clubs the majority want to play for but luckily I don't want to be the biggest club in the world, I want to be the best football team in it

Just read the piece in the mirror, with him supposedly saying it was a step up for him club wise, sigh :(

Apparently, they have inserted a 100m release clause as well.

They would have basically told him key points to hit on. It’s all pr bollocks getting the players to say best club in the world, honour to be here blah blah blah. Every player joining Barca pretty much has the same script. Don’t take it personally the bond Sergio and us fans have is irreplaceable thanks to that amazing moment.

In regards to the posters upset by pep thinking Barca are the best side in the world, no fucking shit don’t be so fucking needy. Its like gerrard saying similar about Liverpool or foden about us in 30 years time.
 
I’ve been out all day and put the tv on to see Sergio in a Barcelona shirt and talking up steps up etc. As if this week hasnt been tough enough.

It’s like seeing your really hot ex girlfriend that you’ve dumped with a new lad three days after you have split up posing for photos and splashing them around the internet. Even though you was the one that did the dumping you are sat at home thinking “hold tight, what’s going on here”
 
Regardless of what Barcelona have told him to say, it doesn't compare to what he did with us.

He scored the goal with the last kick in the last game of the season against our greatest rivals. It is the greatest ever goal scored in English football and will be remembered when we're all dead. Nearly 10 years after it happened, not many blues can watch that without getting something in their eyes!

He won the league for us after 44 years and is a Manchester City legend.

Don't forget that.
