Maybe because there is no shortage of medical evidence that shows that Covid can exacerbate pre-existing dormant conditions?
Doesn’t mean it’s definitely the cause but it makes more sense than most random speculation.
 
Sergio has already had a stellar career. I truly sympathise with his problems over the past few years but for many, their career was cut short before they had time to blossom. Who knows the fitness and health problems he now has?

Regardless, he remains a star and his legacy will endure.

How do you come to that conclusion? It was a recognised condition many years before Covid, same with lots of players professional and Amateur that have played for years before their hearts have problems unfortunately, seems with all the technology now to diagnose these underlying problems they are still way behind

Tbh he should just retire and be with Benjamin as much as possible. He has nothing to prove in football, he should just jack it in and enjoy family life.

Yes - perhaps now that the dream of pairing up with Messi has gone, maybe a good time to head to Independiente at the end of the season for a more laid back last couple of years to his career

He won’t build be building any legacy of any sort with this Barca team anyway
