Our injury problems stem from us having completely no depth in the squad. Kompany has been rushed back in the past and re-injured himself because we have no one who can fill his boots and with Jovetic always perma crocked we have to rush Aguero back from injury every time because we can't rely on Dzeko and Fernan was rushed back because we had no cover in midfield. It's ridiculous with the amount spent we even have this problem but we do and it's one that could cost us the league.
SPOT ON I COULDNT AGREE MORE OUR SO CALLED STRENGTH IN DEPTH IS A MYTH

No need to shout, we can hear you...

I heard him out here in Norfolk. Made me spill my tea.

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Selling Sergio would bite us , when he stays fit he is in the top 3 in the world. Can't think of any reason you would want Sergio gone why not just replace Dzeko with someone more prolific if he and Negredo weren't so woefully not of form no one would be thinking of Selling Sergio

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Sell Sergio. Fuck me there are some loons on here

I love Sergio, he's one of my fave City players ever (who couldn't love him after the QPR game) but.... If his injury problems keep occurring should the club possibly cash in on him while his value is still high and use the money for a less injury prone player? I'd hate to lose him but if he's going to keep playing a few games then miss a month out injured surely the club needs to make the difficult decisions.

Don't be silly

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

His persistent injury problems are beginning to worry me but I'd rather play Serge on crutches than Edin "can't be arsed" Dzeko at the moment neither Edin or beast (still not fully fit) are anywhere near good enough at present. When fit Sergio is truly a worldie and is going nowhere injury or not !

Re: Sergio - hamstring again?

Worst news is that he looks to miss the derby. He usually rips United apart and I don't want Dzeko and Negredo wasting every chance we get against them.

Edin may have missed a few and scored a few
But Negredo??. Are you sure??? , Give the lad a chance to fail before you slag him off.

The beast has been like a kitten playing with cotton wool over the last couple of months. Needs to up his game big time.

I'm a big Negredo fan, but let's be realistic... the Beast is starving right now and hasn't been the same since the game he got injured. Something like 9 games since he scored now and there are no guarantees that will change in time for the derby. Negredo isn't far behind Dzeko on the minutes since a goal count.

The debate is about the derby,
How many times has Negredo let us down??

Erm, have you been watching City lately? Negredo and Dzeko have both been letting us down for a while now. Nasri and Yaya are our top scorers since January.

Erm I will make it simple for you.
How many derbys as Negredo let us own in????

Seriously? He's played in ONE home derby, is that supposed to make me think he'll regain form in that game if he doesn't beforehand?

Negredo is a fantastic player - when in form - and the derby isn't far off. It isn't farfetched to be worried that he and Dzeko won't have found form before then. I hope they have but I'd much rather have Aguero, our superior striker.

You have your opinion and that's fare enough
But the only thing I asked is when has Negredo let us down in a derby.
Whether he has played in 1 or 100 he has never let us down in a derby. So what gives you the knowledge to say he will let us down this time??
Oh and erm by the way way I was in Barca the other night.
So yes I have been watching City lately and for the last 45 years

Yep, just read it too. Here's the actual tweet:

"Luckily, the injury is minor and football will always give you a chance for payback. Now focused on rejoining the guys." And also: "I'm no longer frustrated about the crick I felt during the Barça encounter that prevented me from giving my best."

Send me some of that beer mate.
