Yes or No?
Sergio Ramos could quit Real Madrid next summer - and that will put Premier League clubs on red alert.

Reports of a fall-out between Ramos and Bernabeu boss Jose Mourinho appear to be accurate, after the Spain international was dropped in favour of youngster Raphael Varane for the Champions League clash with Manchester City in midweek.

And stories in Spain claim the 26-year-old could now be set to end his seven year stay in the Spanish capital.

"There are differences in the treatment of players in the dressing room. Differences between the Portuguese clan, the players close to Mourinho, and though who are isolated, like Sergio Ramos," journalist Alfredo Duro said on Spanish TV show Punto Pelota.

"There is no trust between the player and the coach, and vice versa. The solution will come at the end of the season.

"If Mourinho continues [at Madrid], Sergio Ramos will leave Real Madrid. He has a good reputation at PSG, in Russia and England. His value would be around €50m."

Mourinho is believed to have requested that Ramos trains in isolation as a disciplinary measure.

Meanwhile, a separate report in Barcelona-based paper EMD elaborated that Chelsea, who they claim have previously shown interest in the player, along with Manchester City would both be interested in his signature.

Personally i would prefer if we strengthen our Midfield with a player like Fellaini in January rather than add another defender / attacker but if real decides to sell Ramos we would be crazy not to make a reasonable bid . Ramos is a veteran of some sorts in the CL and also a world cup winner . He could partner Kompany or settle our RB problems depending on where he is played .

A YES for me although i don't think this would happen as RM has no solid replacement .

Yes. Tremendous defender. The Bluemoon armchair squad believe that
if you have a lot possession then you never have to defend. Simply untrue considering our biggest issue has been getting hit on the break.

Settle our Right Back problems ?? - We have Micah and Zabs two of the best in Europe!

And he starts near enough every game..

ffs.

Clearly we would not be interested in signing one of the best defenders in the world.
This isn't our kind of place mate.
It makes the General Forum look like a gathering of Oxbridge dons.

Obviously and despite winning everything including the World Cup. Also having near 100 caps for 1 of the best national sides ever to play and costing £23 million at 19 he can only be shit

Maicon ? Is this a joke ? I am yet to see the relevance of Maicon in the team . WE need Sergio ramos IF we can get him that is . Richards gave a wonderful performance at CB against Sunderland so i see Richards as a CB replacement for Lescott in about 1 or 2 seasons from now . Zaba is a great RB and i love how he joins the attack but he has some defensive short comings , Ramos on the other hand has some how managed to perfect the act of defending and attacking plus his aerial advantage would benefit the club. I hate to say this but i don't think Maicon has a future here . If we can get Ramos then the defense line would be

Ramos - Richards - Kompany- Clichy/Kolarov or Ramos-Richards-Kompany if we decide to play 3 CB. I don't see a "Ramos to City" transfer happening though as RM don't have a replacement for him but we have to give credit where credit is due , Ramos is one of the best out there , Barca's president Sandro Rosell also said he would be willing to sign Ramos should he be interested in leaving RM , That says a lot about Ramos.

I'll put that down to a shortage of world class centre halfs in the world.
