I dunno, what do you believe anymore. Savic (based on good sources reporting it) and the goalkeeper Romero (as Given's replacement) I could see happening, not sure about Cerci?

ROBERTO Mancini is lining up an audacious triple transfer swoop for Manchester City.

The Eastlands boss has targeted 23-year-old Fiorentina midfielder Alessio Cerci.

Italian sources claim he is also trying to sign Partizan Belgrade's £7m-rated 20-year-old defender Stefan Savic, a Montenegro international.

Meanwhile 24-year-old Argentina international keeper Sergio Romero is also on City's radar.

AZ Alkmaar ace Romero played all of Argentina's World Cup games in South Africa last summer and would be an ideal replacement if Shay Given moves on.

That would also create serious competition for current No 1 Joe Hart.

Mancini is leaning heavily on two trusted agents to help pull off the triple raid - Sergio Berti, who represents Cerci and Savic, and Mino Raiola, who looks after Romero.

Both have already helped him in the past with Raiola playing a part in Robinho's £18m sale from Manchester City to AC Milan last summer.

know very little about these players but what worries me the most (or it appears to be) every player we are linked with is from Seria A which is hardly the best

Cerci looks like cover for Adam Johnson.

Left footed winger who plays on the right....more pace but AJ looks technically better.

Least he comes with his own terrace song.

Only one of those is from the Italian league! I doubt Sergio Romero, Argie no1 during world cup, would want to be a no2! Plus he's nuts!

Savic is young and I don't know much about him. Sounds like the next Lovren. But Cerci and Romero? That is not the quality we need right now :(

If cerci is cover for AJ it means Sanchez is more the middle, so there will be no Mata Sneijder Nasri Modric Fab or Pastore
