Was about to say before the pen call that Napoli may have more luck with Kvaratskhelia playing. They just haven’t gotten him isolated with the Milan defenders enough but Milan are definitely missing Leão.

BT commentators seem to be blind. Penalty given via VAR for a blatant foul and they’re trying to suggest it was harsh.

Defo a pen. I had to watch the replay to even see it but it looked like a dive initially. First half, Kvaratskhelia went down like his face was hit but it wasn’t. I’m just not big on diving or soft falls. Why am I big fan of Phil’s honest game even if he doesn’t get rewarded for it

100%. His foot got kicked hard enough for it to move 6 inches. You can see why the ref didn’t give it straight away, but when you see it from the other angles, it had to be a pen.

Indeed. No need to argue it. Wonder why they thought it was soft. They even have replays.

With that said, Leão must be kicking himself for missing this game. De Ketelaere has been so so. Not sure who they can bring on to change things…Diaz maybe or Pobega

Possibly…just looked like he went for the smash it as hard as possible so it gets into the net. However, this game has showed that they need someone else other than Leão. Also, De Ketelaere isn’t ready or just doesn’t look like what they need. Brahim has done a lot more in the time he’s been on compared to him
