Serie A Review - 12/13

Inter also drew this weekend drew 2-2 at home with Cagliari. Very weird weekend United, Chelsea, PSG, Juve, Anzhi, Shakhtar and Inter all dropped points.

I don't think De Jong did that well
Today was probably his best game, he hasen´t done to well in Milan yet.

not motm, but he was one of the best. For sure his best game since now.
Where do you think you´ll end up this season? My guess would be 5th or 6th and De Sciglio had a great games yesterday, good for him maybe he´s ready to take Abates place who have been poor this season.

I hope we end 3rd, but it would be very hard, 5th or 6th is more reasonable.

Boateng is not half the player he used to be.
Pato is not a player anymore.
Nocerino doesn't score anymore.
Pazzini and Bojan aren't scoring enough.
if we can solve those four problem i'm confident we can arrive 3rd but we must get something usefull in the market.

For De Sciglio iz important that he improve (cit.) Anyway Abate is injured now and i've no idea about what Allegri will do, Abate is faster, De Sciglio make better cross, both are decent defender

And don´t forget Abbiati.....Antononi being injured is a good thing for Milan. Montolivio is finding his feet in Milan and been playing well in the games I´ve seen, good signing and he was free.
A club like Milan should not depend on a 20 year old to carry there attack, Faraone has done very well but he needs help, you need to buy a striker who can give you 20goals per season.

A club like Milan should not depend on a 20 year old to carry there attack, Faraone has done very well but he needs help, you need to buy a striker who can give you 20goals per season.

He has scord 10 league goals in 14 appearances this season, that is a ratio that works out at closer to 30 than 20 across an entire campaign. Another point that is worth considering is that Juventus won the league last season, but did n't have a player in the top 10 goal scorers and when Milan won the 2010-11 season their best placed player was joint 8th in the list; Zlatan, Pato and Robinho all with 14 goals, and the top two overall goal scorers in the league were Di Natale and Cavani who played for the 4th and 3rd placed teams respectively, but of course they finished 12 and 18 points off of the leaders Milan .

So that would suggest that in Serie A it is better to have a number of goal scorers in the team that get between 10-15 a season rather than one stiker that gets 20 plus goals in the same time period. This is made even more convincing by the fact that when Zlatan fully emerged as "the main man" in his second season whilst he scored more goals himself with 28, no other Milan player got in the top 10, whilst the minimum goals needed to get in was 1 goal lower (13 rather than 14) and Milan collected two less points than in the previous season and finished 2nd compared to 1st in the season before.
