Not sure he should be singled here though, it's more team related than him as individual.

Never 50-60 millions player though.

I think this was Napoli's great chance to win the league and they have blown it. Can see Cavani and Hamsik both going this summer if they are ambitious. Cavani is nailed on to go, if not to us then Real Madrid. Hamsik is a very productive midfielder and loads of clubs would want him.

Seriously, the guy stinks at them. Phenomenal striker though.

Cavani is my favourite striker outside the Premier League, but for £40-50m?

I would expect 35-40 goals in all competitions for that money.

Cavani is a £30m striker, Falcao is a £35-40m striker.

Valuations for players nowadays are just ridiculous, and the downside to it all is that in all honesty we have played a huge part in inflating everything along with Chelsea and PSG.

Cavani is going to be interesting to watch to see how we'll he does in getting out of his goal drought.

38 millions is highest City paid. City did inflate things with first set of purchases and paid some less quality players as they were world stars but it never went to do some ridiculously big transfer like Chelsea did with Torres for ex.

City's transfers were mainly in 25 mils line, I guess that's how it worked back then - we want 15 millions - no, no, take 24 please, that's what we pay :)

While I'd love it if he joined, like really love it, I'm a sucker for players showing inordinate loyalty to clubs, just as Batigol did in 90's.
And with Montella and just a bit more investment, I think they could be serious Scudetto contenders in 2 years time.
