Here we go! A new season begins.

The 2014–15 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) will be the 113th season of top-tier Italian football, the 83rd in a round-robin tournament, and the 5th since its organization under a league committee separate from Serie B. It will begin on 30 August 2014.

A total of 20 teams will compete in the league: 17 sides from the 2013–14 season and three promoted from the 2013–14 Serie B campaign. Juventus are the defending champions.

The season will feature the return of Palermo after only one season in the second division and Empoli, whose last appearance was in the 2007–08 season. Cesena, the play-off winner, returned to the top level after two years in Serie B.

Roma-Fiorentina live at 7:45pm, if you are interested to watch our next opponents in champions.
About to watch it. Just checked the European results - Schalke 1-1Bayern Munich

Good to see Serie A up and running again though I do think the quality of football has deteriorated over the years. It doesn't stop me going over to watch however,my next match being Inter v Atalanta in a few weeks.
Glad that Palermo are back in the division along with minnows Empoli, sad however that Livorno and Tuscan neighbours Siena aren't there.
Good to see Antonio Di Natale having another season.I went to see him in one of his "last" games last season and he was on the bench and didn't come on!So I have another chance to see one of the greats.
For anyone else who follows Serie A I hope you enjoy.

Another cracking game between Torino and inter. Too many teams in Italy are reluctant to commit numbers forward.

Don't usually bother with the Serie A these days, use to love it as a kid late 90's/early 2000.

Might watch a few Fiorentina games Micah plays in now though.
