Haven't seen his name mentioned at all on here (as far as I am aware)...so what do we make of Stephane Sessegnon? Watching the match now and he just grows on me every week. Fantasy players will know his value, if for many Blues that don't get to appreciate that sort of thing and/or watch many Sunderland matches. I think he is mustard! Smart, quick, goalscorer, creative, low-key (not a ****), loves to be on the ball, loves to give others opportunities. He's not even a striker, more a Dempsey, Silva, Mata type player who they often deploy up front (in fact have done all season), and he has an eye for a goal and tremendous link up play.

He has over two years left on his contract at Sunderland, and under O'Neill everyone knows how much of a better outfit they are and are becoming, so I would imagine it would take one hell of a bid. They paid a mere 6m for him!!! 6 MILLION! You could get 3 Sess' for 1 Henderson!!!

I am being serious here Blues and I know it's just one of hundreds of names out there, hence the reason we put these in Transfer. Would love to see him don our Blue shirt, and think he could work absolute wonders with Kun, David , Yaya and co. We don't need a squad overhaul. We don't need 5 new players. We dont need to fix something that isn't broken, we just need a bit of fine tuning and TIME. If we get him in for next year and a bit of defensive cover maybe at CB, we can make a run at the C.L and league together! Again, just my thoughts....

hart
richards lescott kompany clichy
barry/milner yaya
silva kun sess
balotelli

His decision making let's him down sometimes, holds on to the ball a little to long when in good areas...if he could sort this out he could be top draw

good option to have but wouldn't be a sure-fire starter.

Would probably cost us 20mil, he's having a very good years.

Fuck no. Seriously, no. No no no. Decision making is terrible and he will always make at least ten long range shots a game of which 9 won't even hit the target and the other 1 will go straight at the keeper. He's a slightly more aggressive Walcott who's not quite as fast. The epitome of an ever so slightly flashy quick mid table player with no business at all at a top 4 club.

It's the same as when any player in a game on terrestrial TV has a reasonably good game. We'll start a topic, someone will ask if we should be looking at him, a little fawning about how he could be great here, then it all drifts off into obscurity as he does nothing of note for the rest of the season.

The only player of that ilk on the pitch today we should be looking at buying is Oxlade Chamberlain, and even he wouldn't be worth it unless Arsenal drop out of the CL and he has a super cheap get out clause in his contract.

See, this is why Bm gets on my tits so often. Mate...ARE YOU PARTIALLY BLIND? I mean for fucking fuckidy fuck sake do you watch football, or when you watch do you count the blades of grass? For a start Ox-Chamb was about as wank as he has been all season, and far from his usual, youthful, vibrant promising self, so not sure what you're on about from today's match there. Sessegnon has been brilliant all season long, and would only be better with better supporting players...i.e us, spurs and .....dadadadadadadad...rags?

definitely not going to argue about this one.

And this is why BM gets on my tits so much. OX has a bad game, Sessegnon has a reasonbly good game. So we should be looking at buying him and not Oxlade Chameberlain? OF COURSE NOT!! Read my post again, I didn't say we should buy Oxlade off the back of what we saw today, I said he was the only player on the pitch of that ilk we should be looking at. A fast direct wide/forward player with a lot of potential and seemingly good decision making especially for his age. If he isn't already a superior footballer to Sessegnon there's certainly a much higher than average chance that he will be, probably very soon if he keeps getting first team chances.

Sessegnon is TWENTY SEVEN!! How good do people think he's going to be for fucks sake? He plays at Sunderland which is his level. Leave him there! Does anyone honestly think that a footballer as good as Sessegnon gets to the peak of his career, at Sunderland, without any of the top scouts or managers of top clubs thinking "Yeah, he's brilliant, lets buy him". Give the professionals a little more credit. He managed to fall out of favour at PSG, probably his 'big chance', failed, cheaply sold to Sunderland. He's not going to do anything Johnson can't in an impact role capacity, and impact role is only as good as he's going to get in this team.

The second I saw Johnson I stopped reading. You have problems.

He showed brief glimpses last season but his game has really come on this season, he's still a bit to learn and I'm sure if RM thinks there's something he can work with he will give it great consideration.

Oh and yes he's 27, but Pires for example didn't go to Arsenal until a similar age and really came on as a player, people need to remember players don't always develop physically and mentally at the same rate, there can be as much as a decade between many.

Even his Mum doesn`t know. ;) Sorry whothefucksalice.Couldn`t resist it mate !!

Another thread about a player who will never play for City

1) We can't buy every player that has a few decent games or even a decent season

2) We would have about a 1000 players in the squad if the club went for every player that has been suggested on here

3) I really don't know what the clubs policy is on buying players, but I am sure after some of the players Hughes brought in they would be very cautious about buying just anyone, I am sure they will only buy really outstanding players who will increase in value
