I can confirm I was there. Probably just landing in York about now to start a long piss up, as its my birthday. Drinking in a pub that was ambushed by Leeds fans. Ended up with me and a mate trying to steal a rowing boat at about 8pm as we'd decided we were going to row back to Manchester. We were dragged back to the river bank by a couple of sensible and sympathetic York fans

I was there, but I've always considered the pre Andy Morrison defeat at Lincoln to be far worse.
