You must be joking all of a sudden it would be all about we have more of them than you do.I agree with everything you said there. The other thing that bothers me is it's the only stick that the rags and dippers have left to beat us with. It would be a lovely year to do the double and we would never hear another word from the red rabble.
My concern is that if we do win the CL this season, Pep may decide to call it a day.If Pep leaves without winning the CL then it will be a complete dismissal of his legacy...
Forgot about himAkanji will start i reckon
Given the fact we spend trillions more than every other team We would of course then have to retain it to be classed as a classed as a top top teamI agree with everything you said there. Every single employee of MCFC from Khaldoon down to the tea lady would sacrifice the league this year for the Champions League. No need to take an apologetic tone: most of those who pretend it's not the priority do it as a self-preservation mechanism.Nope. I know I'm in a minority but I'm at the point where I'd begrudgingly sacrifice the League for one season if it meant lifting the CL. We can't keep flaking in it season after season and pretending it isn't an issue. Erling wakes up every morning to a CL anthem alarm, that's what it means to the world's best players. If Pep leaves without one CL it's going to leave a faint tarnish on his legacy here; just my opinion, and I'm sure some will disagree.
I'm praying this is the season we finally get the monkey off our back.

This team needs at least one Champions League for the future to view it as what it is: one of the best teams ever. That's just the way it is and I want it with a passion.
I almost expect him to leave if we do win it. The bigger concern is who replaces him when he does go.My concern is that if we do win the CL this season, Pep may decide to call it a day.
Sadly, this is absolutely true now, both for the club’s reputation and, as @supercity88 explained, for Pep’s legacy.Every single employee of MCFC from Khaldoon down to the tea lady would sacrifice the league this year for the Champions League.
