Probably to do with him accepting being dropped better than the other players at the moment, along with building trust.The only thing I can think of was that Alvarez’s “free” role that game was not meant to be quite that free.

Though, I am not sure a 22 year-old from one the world’s most physical leagues requires a week off to “recover” from playing just over 180 minutes in three matches, one of which was a freindly.Probably to do with him accepting being dropped better than the other players at the moment, along with building trust.
He‘s only played about 120 mins for us so far.
