Phil, all did well tho, I'd give special praise to the 'new' lads at the back.

I saw Akanji and his build and though slow & clumsy......that's why I'm not a manager.

Foden was a shoe-in for it until he was subbed. Then we had Kev, Silva, Haaland and Fast Walking high shorts all up for it but they were all subbed as well so i'm left with a toss up between the 2 debutants that did the full 90.
Akanji looked like he's been playing for us for years, calm and assured. But i'm giving it to Gomez who, in a much needed position for us, did exceptionally well at left back.

Great team performance. Foden was obviously MOTM, the two new defenders were superb, I’ve nothing bad to say -its pissing me off! This Gomez fellah is class.
