Typical early season game against the low block and hit on the counter. Perfect prep for what's to come. Thought we got better and definitely deserved the draw, winning on pens a lovely unexpected bonus.

I'll be really fucked off if Gvardiol is missing for any length of time. That Sevilla **** knew exactly what he was doing. Very poor challenge

Great City effort in very difficult conditions against a really decent side who played us well. Thought Haaland was a passenger and Foden was virtually non existent. Well done Palmer hopefully a taste of things to come.

Not a great performance. Lacking creativity and need a couple in. Condition’s definitely didn’t help but it was the same for both teams. As soon as it went to pens I feared the worst! Nice to get this trophy for the first time!!!

Highlight for me - seeing Jack engage so much with the blind girl on the stage. Pep and Kyle did as well - camera cut away from a lot of it. Some didn’t but genuinely heart-warming to see the “football family” It takes a second but lasts a lifetime - good lad is our Jack

He kissed the medal when he received it. When he retires from football, his playing career is going to be glittering with medal honours, no matter how much anyone knocks him;)
