Best performance in the past two seasons , today we saw the future with a 3 man diamond in midfield , Sterling was outstanding tonight, Bony great game , Kompany and Otimendi solid.

What the fuck was Kolorov doing in 1st half stoppage time gambling on getting the goal kick, Clichy get fit quick please.
 
We'd have done that at the swamp if the rags had actually come forward a bit.

As good as it gets as a performance in this competition.

Hopefully a real game changer of a performance, especially from a mentality point of view.

We have the players and manager to beat anybody in Europe and win this competition and tonight has shown everyone that, especially the players themselves.

Excellent performance tonight, Pelle completely 100% vindicated in his team selection and tactics.

Well done blues, this could well be a springboard for the rest of the season, don't underestimate the boost this will give the squad.

The only concern is how we would cope with an injury crisis, can you imagine if we had to play tonight with Aguero, Silva, DeBryne, Mangala, Zabba, Clichy and Nasri missing from the starting 11.

Bit worried about Kolarov's defensive weakness again though, poor in that aspect tonight.
