Sevilla Vs Real Madrid

Before the Barcelona cup game at home they put Catalan news clippings all over the Madrid dressing room so they would be all fired up.

Press clippings about the Madrid performances and how Messi was well ahead of Ronaldo's goal scoring tally 2 games into the season.

Quite sad really but it was obviously effective, Madrid comfortably won and should of put at least 5 past Barcelona that day.

Watched the second half of this match real madrid look a shambles.I still think city will be happy to get a draw at real madrid

I think la liga is over after just a handful of games.

Agree, 8 points is 2 losses and a draw.

-- Sat Sep 15, 2012 11:25 pm --

There is no doubting Real Madrid have an unreal team, but for me Barcelona are by far currently the superior side in terms of quality and the fear they drill into their opposition.

Messi came of the bench in the 2nd half today and scored two, Villa came off the bench and scored one. Barcelona missed Villa last year leaving Barcelona heavily relying on Messi to get them goals, with Villa back now I don't see them making many mistakes this season, they look more of a team a well.

Madrid at the moment remind me of how we are doing currently, we both tried so hard to out do our rivals to win the title last year, and now it is as if we feel we have come to power and it because we are champions, we are going into games with a mentality of whatever you score we will better, either way we are going to win. This is my opinion anyway.

I do believe once we gain momentum, we will storm the league, and a win at Madrid might just do the trick for us.

Barca are the better team and for the money Real Madrid spent you'd think they would be a half decent team but I don't think they are better then us, Barca or Bayern.

half decent team?

FGS, they won 100 points in La Liga last year.. luckily, Mancini and players won't think like that

Read Madrid fans forums they all think that apart from Barca they havent been tested against a big team and City is a big test for them.

If they dropped a bollock against us then they won't be able to afford another slip up, he'd be sacked if they didn't progress from the group.

The players he will change for Tuesday though, there isn't much in it anyway. We're talking Modric/Ozil, Benzema/Higuain, Maxwell/Coentrao, Khedeira/Lass.

I do see what you're saying though. I definitely raised an eyebrow when I saw their line up. Gives me a bit more confidence that if we can impose ourselves on the match then we can do something.

Think you mean Marcelo. Maxwell plays for Barca

Think you mean Maxwell.Maxwell plays for PSG.

Edit: already been said.
