Sevilla Vs Real Madrid

So we are expecting a Stoke type of performance from Real on Tuesday?

Stylistically no but Real ALWAYS cheat so the diving will be rampant and if we get a referee like that homer Kassai against Munich last season we could have players booked/sent off.

Tevez and Aguero could cause their defense all sorts of problems. They look vulnerable.

Agree, but it makes you wonder what the best way to play it is. Personally, despite the quality of their attack, i think sitting back a little and counter-attacking is the way to go. I think Yaya can carry the ball through their midfield which lacks a real physical presence, can't see Alonso or Khedira keeping up with him, open up the gaps for Silva, Aguero and Tevez to get at Pepe and Ramos.

Aguero, Tevez, Silva, Yaya, Garcia, Rodwell, Clichy, Lescott, Kompany, Maicon, Hart.

We can get at these on the break.

Just hope our defense holds out ...and we get a fair ref.

Would be the first Fair refereeing ever seen at the bernabeu

Our defenders need to be on top of their game as Madrid look very good going forward however at the back its a very different story
They look vulnerable at set pieces
Ramos- Their best defender and a good player but can get caught against pace
Pepe- Well anything can happen when hes on the pitch, very dirty and can get wound up easily
Marcelo-More of a winger than a left back who bombs forward but leaves huge gaps on the right hand side, also Coentrão does this so that an area we need to exploit
Arbeloa-Average at best, offers nothing going forward and like Ramos is suspect against pace

I also think we need a strong ref who is not influenced by the players and the crowd
I honestly believe we have a good chance of getting a result there

Well lets see if we approach the game on Tuesday with less naivety. I am expecting improvement from both us and Real.

I agree. With the team though, I'd rather have Barry and Zabba in for Maicon and Rodwell.

I'd go for Zab if he's fit, but he wasn't in the squad today. Too early for Barry for me, not sure we can afford anyone in midfield who's not totally match ready.
