Sexist songs

Th death the other day of the singer Jack Jones at 88 reminded me of one of his hits, "Wives and Lovers", which was written for him by the estimable team of Burt Bacharach and Hal David.

Some of the lyrics are just a tad sexist.....

"Hey, little girl, comb your hair, fix your make-up
Soon he will be at the door
Don't think because you've a ring on your finger
You needn't try any more"

and....

Day after day there are girls at the office
And men will always be men.
Don't send him off with your hair still in curlers
You may not see him again."

Well, it was 1963. Times have changed. Apparently it entaged the feminists in USA. It would, wouldn't it?
I seen the thread title and quickly scrolled down the pages to see if anybody had mentioned this. Totally overlooked yours in my haste. DOH!

“Daisy Daisy get me a tit to chew,
I’m so crazy my balls are turning blue,
I can’t afford a Johnny, a plastic bag will do,
So if you lie on your back and open your crack, i’ll always finger you”

Me and my pals, primary school, 1989
