Ok so I've had a debate with a fellow blue although his pionts are valid I can't agree ..

I said " I don't care if we play shit boring football as long as we win and that's that "!

He said "we must play fast flowing football win or lose " ... Now I do agree to a point but I dont care how we win as long as we win ! Obviously this is not the case at the min .. Just thought I'd see what you guys thought ?

I want my team to win at all costs, I couldn't give a monkey's what the football was like, 3 points is all that matters to me when I step through the turnstyles.

I've said before that I've no problem with a successful efficient system, that sees us strong defensively, yet allows us to nick a few goals.

3 goals in 5 league games is shit, no matter how you dress it up.

I think we are playing Horrendous football atm. And have done all season with exceptions of arsenal, Liverpool and west brom. Now we have the best players in the league which begs the question Mancini hasn't go a clue how to work with them or that they just plain and simple aren't gelling. I would love us to win regardless but right now we are finding it exceptionally hard to do so

Whatever happened to the .. 'if you score two goals , we'll score three'... outlook ........ and actually giving the oppostion more problems then they can give you ...... tactics may well win you the odd match or two , but scoring goals will win you an awful lot more!

3 goals in 5 league games is shit, no matter how you dress it up.

Of course it's shit, it's not good enough and it must improve however teams go through spells like this. Look at Chelsea for example who sit top of the leauge, in their last 6 leauge games they've scored 5 goals and only scored 1 in their last 3. Whats important is we don't allow this spell to continue and we snap out of it quickly starting on Sunday

Agreed, this is just a response to what were the "just because we're not winning every game 10-0" club (which has seemingly disbanded, haven't heard that one for a few days).

Can't you see that English football is following the path of Italian football.

The fear of defeat is now overpwering the will to win, the league is already on a slippery slide. Just look at the ammount of hoof it physical teams that are not only doing well but are producing imitators.

The "I don't care if it's rubbish just want to win" and "as long as we are solid defensively, we will nick the odd goal" comments prove the pressure to succeed is going to ruin the spectacle of great footy we have come to expect.

So no, I definately don't want to play shit football and win, in the long run we will all lose!!

I know mate, was just saying. 3 goals in 5 games and 2 goals in 3 games is obviously something that needs to improve or we'll find ourselves slipping up at places like Wolves and Sunderland as we're not always going to keep clean sheets. Fulham won't be an easy game as they're not a bad side at home but they've conceded goals in every home game so far this season so we should be scoring and winning
