Shafted.

Not all so called conspiracy theories are bollocks.
Saying a tiny minority own most of the wealth and have a plan to divide and rule is considered a conspiracy theory, despite it being true..
I don't think there's a conspiracy between these people. I don't think they meet up in a hall, wearing hoods.
It's just systemic in 'the system'. A system which, BTW, most of us don't even question, any more than we question the weather or geography. The system is a thing created by man, that most regard as part of nature.

I'm not even sure that they consciously set out to divide us.

They will always get away with it because most people are stupid.
Seduced by the media, social media, reality TV, smartphones and the like.
The people have the power to change everything but most are too dumbed down and comfortable in their lives to realise it.
It's only a small group of people who are controlling everything and they know how easy it is to do it, anyone exposing it is labelled a conspiracy nutjob and shouted down by the brainwashed masses. Its not just a UK thing, its worldwide. Sadly it isn't gonna change anytime soon, certainly not in my lifetime.
Maybe not. There is an interesting change in peoples voting intentions that hasn't been seen before. Traditionally, the older someone becomes, the more right wing they become, which in the UK has resulted in 75% of the poulation over 60 years of age voting tory.

That demograph isn't happening anymore, with boomers, generation X and millenials turning their backs on right wing politics and steadfastly refusing to accept their philosophies.

The message that whatever happens to the country isn't the fault of the tories is being lost to generations that despise them, and it's not just in the UK, but is being replicated throughout the world where right wing politics isn't representing their concerns.

People just swallow any old shit. That's why the ruling class is the ruling class. They can very easily persuade half the plebs to hate the other half. It's an absolute doddle. The latest thing is conspiracy theories. There are 1001 out there, all of them bollocks.

Until ordinary people learn to unite, nothing will change. But we have gone the other way if anything. The country is massively divided and that's what the tiny minority who own nearly all the wealth want.
If only working people could work out they had far more in common with the ‘foriners‘ the Tories would have been finished years ago. As long as they keep most of the population relatively uneducated and can find one group to turn on another group, as they’ve always done, they’ll always be in with a chance of keeping power and continually feathering their nests. One striking difference between ‘then’ and now is they don’t even try to hide it and are doing it in plain sight.
The last 6 years have seen the biggest redistribution of wealth from the poor to the rich that we’ve ever seen and, what’s even worse is that every year of those 6 years, the wealth gap has got bigger. No wonder they and their paymasters want to keep going as long as possible.
This is one of the main reasons for the royal ‘feud’ being talked up more and more every day so, in keeping with this government‘s one successful principle of ‘look over there’ whilst I’m doing all this other stuff over here.

For sure, there's every chance things will change. My point was that it's unlikely in my lifetime..!

I think that’s a fair complaint. What’s the option? Force union members to vote as part of their membership?
No,obviously.I'm just showing the indifference there seems to be with it all, don't forget, probably at least one third aren't even in any union to begin with, but, they take all the gains won every year.
