True, but Pep won't want to just throw away a 20 game winning run.

If we lose against Shakhtar and lose the derby, the media campaign that will follow of City starting to bottle it could really start to affect the players.

Mourinho would love nothing more than a pschological warfare to commence.

I think a part of Mourinho will want City to play a weakened team against Shakhtar so they lose.

He will want the media to start to properly turn on City because at the moment - bar a few dodgy stories here and there - we are the darlings of European football at the moment.

Make all the subs between 60th and 70th min.

If we are not winning we bring on Sterling as one of the subs. This line up gives us the best chance of winning the game while resting some important players. Would like to see Sane and Fern on the bench but think they will both start and get subbed off. Fern at LB will hopefully conserve some energy.

I agree, idiotic decision. We should have played 11 from the academy, the result of this match means absolutely nothing.
