some you are the number one reason why we get the piss took. when united fuck up and people link red cafe to bluemoon, i imagine it happens the other way. so the pricks of the day are :

paulpowre (only going off his spelling) - "players should take a long hard look at themselves" - well they've just gone toe to toe with the champions of england who were fighting for their lives and got done 1-0 in injury time.

terryphelan - "mourinho, please come and sort this club" - you are one confused man. after a troubled week on off topic, i thought you'd be keeping your head down. people are aware of what you are.

jrb - "bobby manc is back to his cautious ways" - he played the same team as last week except bridge for garrido. the trouble was scholes. we didn't have anyone to pick up the best english midfielder since gascoigne. tevez didn't know whether to pick him up or leave him. if mancini had gone for vieira rather than a forward, he'd have been accused of negative but he goes for it and you start.

kippax71 - "i'll drive ireland to his next club" - carry on driving mate, we don't need fans like you.

andouble - "tevez chose today to have his worst game" - yep, i'm sure he woke up this morning and decided to have an off day as he didn't want to upset baconface anymore.

mancityfc - "piss poor management" - go on then genius, what team would you have picked?

adam donnelly - "i've had enough of bellamy" - well let's have petrov or musampa back on the left eh?

lovecity - "I HATE YOU CITY" - well fuck right off then. did you hate them last sunday, or easter saturday, or next week when you're sat watching the arsenal game? don't claim passion. you thought about it and decided to do it.

Well, since you're analyzing threads I posted this in my thread too!

Obviously when I say "I HATE YOU CITY" I don't mean I hate the club literally. Just the way they f*ck with our heads and bottle it, break our hearts constantly. "Wouldn't be City otherwise" is the defence of that... f*ck that, I'm tired of getting my heart broken by City, I think we all are. We need to adopt a winning mentality, we had an inferiority complex today, hence all the non-performers. We have a better starting 11 and lately have been playing just as well as a team as the scum but today we again bottled it in the shadow of the "big mighty reds". No blame on Mancini, could have had them 10 times on the counter, only for Bellers to trip over his own feet or cross it into the crowd.

Don't criticize or question players during 90 minutes. I think Ireland looked lazy not picking up scholes in the box as he was on his own but maybe im just a rag. The 11 on the pitch are good city players but to basically say you can't criticize some footballing choices over a 90 minute game is daft. If that goal happened in the 70th minute this forum would be going mad but the fact is was 90+ we can just rite it off as "unlucky"
 
Yes those reactions were way over the top, but it doesn't hide the fact that dear old MCFC ballsed up again by gifting Stretford a goal with less than 30 seconds of the game left.

It shouldn't keep happening.
 
well said that man. Football is about ups and down's, we are on the crest of our best season in over 30 years to beaten by the champions in added on time however disappointing is no disgrace. it just hurts more when the game has a real bearing on our season's targets.

hope everyone has calmed down now and is reflecting on a bad day at the office. to adamdonnelly, i understand you went on to explain yourself but to create a thread titled I HATE YOU CITY, seems to smack of attention seeking. fair play you weren't on your own and are the only one who has defended themselves on this thread. what i'm saying though is that this forum seems to be an extension to the shenanigans that go on in the stadium after the games. you know what i mean, geordies crying for half an hour after losing 4-3 at anfield in the hope that sky will film them and show the country how devastated they are. the idea seems to be, let's rush home to get on bluemoon and start the "who's gutted the most" competition. there were far too many over reactions yesterday. i agree that if ireland refused to track back (i haven't seen a replay yet) then it needs addressing because a player on that much money should be up for it in the biggest game of the season SO FAR. but to suggest he should be ran out of town for it?? fuck me. did goater track back every time he lost the ball?? a mistake is a mistake whether it's against united in the league or scunthorpe in the league cup.as a group of supporters, we build this match up too much and inevitably are let down when things don't go our way. we had a good record in this fixture a few years back because they were at the top of their game and we didn't expect much. now the problem is we expect to beat them. anyway, rant over. onwards and upwards and let's go to arsenal the way we went to chelsea. quietly confident but raring to go. win that one and a united win (of course we want them to win, let's not be pathetic) and we are back in the driving seat with 3 to play.
 
Yer pick yerself up, yer dust yerself down and yer get on again, taking note of anything that can improve the next performance. This, I am certain, is what we will see with Mancini and the players at Carrington this week.

They will be as prepared as they could be.

Well said, some fans on here yesterday were a disgrace, ashamed to say that we support the same team. Wellinfact, we dont support the same team, because its the usual few who constantly slag us off complain. GET A GRIP FFS!
 
Another "our supporters are the worst in the world" sob story.

We just lost a derby in the last seconds. A few people overreacted, a few people went off on one. Big deal, at least they did it in the heat of the moment unlike these "our supporters are crap" threads that appear every second day.

If someone takes the piss out of you for something someone else posted on an internet forum harden the fuck up and tell them to get a life.
 
I dont take too much notice of what people say on here after a loss . . . . Not coz I dont value their opinion but because its usually a knee-jurk reaction.

FFS ive said some really crap, bitter stuff on here after losing and felt stupid for saying it after. Its just how it is. emotions get the better of us after losing but to lose to the rags in the way we did was gutting.

At the end of the day we are all blues but it does not mean we have to agree all the time.

Spot on thread - some of the spineless, irrational posts on here were an embarrassment. Reality checks are needed - we are a good emerging side - by no means complete but we can give anyone a game now - even now we have a chance of top 4 - bloody good compared to where we have come from in recent history - not one player didn't put a shift in yesterday - it just wasn't our day it happens.
Stop looking for scape goats - there weren't any yesterday - (ok more running back and marking and less jogging/sauntering back with 17 seconds left might have helped).
 
Am I the only one who wasn't looking down the OP dreading see my own username?

I honestly feel that this season each time we've played the Rags its hasn't had the feel of 'this is a derby so anything can happen' more 'the best team will win' 3 out the four times the have 'cos they're better than us. But only just as the timi8ng of the goals shows. It's taken Baconface 20 odd years to 'achive' what he has and this squad hasn't even played together for a season. Next year we WILL be the better side and we WILL beat scratch that, piss all over them and we WILL fuckin' love it.

Cmon guys, everyone was emotional about Saturday so much was at stake but come on lets move on and get behind the boys for the last few games.

I for one am proud at the impact we have made this season, we have run rings around United annoying them and we deffo showed at times on saturday just how average they are now, we've done the double over Chelsea and maybe yet still Arsenal, teams we usually would pinpoint as 0 points out of 6 on the fixture list.

This is going to be the best finish for decades and the best is yet to come lads! If it doesn't happen this year we can only improve over the summer who knows we could be lifting the title this time next year? Lets get behind the lads as one and take maximum points and it still is by no means over yet.
 
We need to remember that we have still only lost 6 PL games to date !!

Its a forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion, but come on,look how far we`ve come over the past 2/3 years.

well said, we are supposed to support our team, not rip it to bits. although this has always happened with our so called fans. get behind the boys with some proper noise in the ground and help mthem to raise their game, or go support some other team with your unproductive venom
