You may want to try a share-dealing service who will do the business execution-only for you (ie no advice/no comeback).
I have used Halifax in the past. Just 'google' and you'll get some ideas.

If you want to get involved in the stock market you're probably better off with a fund that manages a group of shares rather than buying individual shares.You're better off using a discount broker.I use a company called Hargreaves Lansdown www.h-l.co.uk

If you want to bet, sorry! invest a large amount you may wish to use a broker who will help you build a portfolio.
