I very much doubt this will happen.

I suspect what we are seeing now in terms of their transfer MO (or lack of it) is why he decided to exit the stage when he did.

I think he's done and he'll fade a little into the background, if anything.
This definitely isn't going to happen, he may have been made "ambasador" or some such thing, but I think he's washed his hands of it completely.

In my opinion his leaving was because he knew what was coming regards transfers, ie very little, and he knew the trouble that united were in. He sought assurances from the glazers, and they didn't come, so he bolted. He'll not be back.

The article is perhaps a bit ott, but united's transfer policy thise season has a similar whiff about it to that of Spurs 4 or 5 years ago when they were trying to catch their local rivals, where they promised much, shouting from the rooftops, but delivered little or nothing.

what a difference it makes these days to pick up a news paper and not see city splashed all over the back pages , with player unrest , fighting on the training ground , changing room revolt , city buying every footballer in the world , even the scum bags red cafe forum don't have us on there pages one any more ,perhaps that's what they meant by an holistic approach????? i like it!!!!!!!!!!!

Just goes to show how scared the press were of Baconface and now hes gone its open season

Good point. Of all the red-tops the Mirror was the most obsequious in its praise of the Rags,
now that the bully has left the stage it looks like the cowards are queuing up to stick the knife in.
Happy days.

Let's not be fooled, everything is rosy in ragworld, the rag hordes love their new chairman and new manager,we don't want mourinho they screamed from their armchairs in bristol and carlisle and london,we always wanted moyes they lied from their computers in singapore and thailand, they got the best young manager in europe in wee davy the press keep telling us.........
Oh it's comedy gold everyday at the theatre of ongoing.....
Love it...i really love it!!!

Its nice to see and read but shows how spineless and gutless these reporters and papers really are as they have been too afraid to say such things in the past and have let one person who bought a "Sir" title and was offered and turned down a "Lord" title bully them.

Now, if the same can happen with officials and they start to lose the "Utd treatment" ie no bookings for definite yellow cards, yellow cards for red card offences and reffed by the book rather than by fear then I will be happy.

Remember last season, the early months which left them to build up a nice lead, the crazy decisions they got when struggling at Pool, Chelsea etc. RVP could have got 3 reds in the first few months instead of 1 yellow and would have missed about 10 games via suspension if refs ruled by the book so it would make an interesting season should they lose their 10 point start they get each year by decisions.

This.
It would be nice if any untainted journalists could ask their mates why they've spent up to twenty-five years with their tongues up a certain orifice and print the answers. Just a bunch of spineless tossers; pretty much like the match officials also mentioned above.

Bang on, this will be the true test for me.

Has anybody any idea what the fuckwits on Ragcafe are making of all this?

United.
The new comedy club.

Fuckem.

http://www.redcafe.net/threads/bearded-genius-article.374994/

There you go.

One quality gem quote.

Should we be surprised this was printed by the Mirror, the staunchest anti-United newspaper going? If HardlyAGenius wrote a positive 'article' on us, it would have got the airtime he deserves. None.

Even a fellow rag posted the gif of the fat kid laughing in response.
