My lad won a competition to be on the programme cover at the end of the 12/13 season. Went along to Carrington with him and the other comp winners

She was great with him. Really friendly bubbly character

Every time he now sees her on the pitch he says "there's my mate Sharon"

Her work over the last few years will outlive us all. She's superbly chronicled a truly remarkable period in our football club's history. She's always struck me as being discernibly unaffected by what she did, never having delusions of grandeur, which is greatly to her credit. Like others, I wish her all the very best and wonder what it could be that she deems to be a better career option!
