Earlier this year, we got a kitchen firm in (after a lot of looking around) S&A of Bury. OK, he ain't cheap price wise. But, he has individual trades for each part of the job. Guys to rip out the old, re plaster. A plumber, a spark, and a kitchen fitter....
Neighbour had a 'one man band' guy do his roof, extension and kitchen recently....what a cluster fuck. Lot cheaper, but so many problems and shoddy jobs...
You get what you pay for....

One man band every time but only go off recommendations, these bigger firms just pluck numbers out of the air.
