Before he got the Sri Lanka job, he was ripping it up in the Welsh league, breaking The New Saints' absolute stranglehold on the league with his side the mighty Connah's Quay Nomads. Two league titles, one FAW Cup, one Welsh League Cup, and one Manager of the Year award.
