You can only ask players to give it their all and play their best every time they pull a shirt on, and he certainly did that.Lillis was a 100% player every game and a blue through and through, unfortunately he wasn't very good.

Left along with Alan Mahon at pretty much the same time as Nils Nielsen departed the DoF role for the women's team to go back to coaching/managing instead. Don't think there was an official club announcement or reasons given.Surprised to see him leave, thought he was doing one on one coaching with Bunny and judging by her goal record this season it was going well!
Hate to say it, as he's a dyed in the wool blue. But let's be honest; he was extremely limited. The fact he supported City got him a lot of credit in the bank. Goater was a far more effective player.On that score Mark Lillis springs to mind. He put up with some awful abuse until he won the fans over also.
