Shay Given to rags

Shay Given part-exchange for Rooney? Hmm, not that I wished for it, but we may be on to something here...

Of course, I would rather drive Shay Given all the way to Ireland for Celtic than giving the Rags any new leash of hope.

I've said on another thread that I don't think Baconface will want just money as he won't get chance to spend it, he'll want players. I think he'll make a bid for Tevez or AJ personally. We should bide our time and wait for them to show their hand, two of our reserves who want out would be ok but we shouldn't allow him to unsettle any of our players and I think he will try, he's been after revenge since that welcome to Manchester poster

Given is not a happy bunny at City, this is not good for spirit,as he is unlikely ever to regain the jersey this wouldn't overly concern me,unquestionably he is a decent keeper, however, his presence would have little influence on their deterioration,so,why not,i can safely say we'd be getting the better of the deal.

he can bid for who he wants but the debt ravaged fuckers will not get us to sell anyone we dont want to, and we wouldnt want to sell Tevez or Johnson so no issue

my mate put £200 on shay going to the rags 3 weeks ago,
i told him he has wasted his money, he told me its 100% done deal from someone very close to shay, and rooney was not mentioned in this deal
